For Gautim. This is my first Dogfish Head in a while, we’ve been ignoring most of the new releases. What do you really need after 60, 90, 120, Red $ White, and Burton Baton? This one is neato. Not to dumb it down but I think this would be killer wi… [...]
As expected from Dogfish Head, Immort Ale is a style all its own. Maple syrup, smoked barley, juniper, and vanilla are all added to the brew before it’s aged in oak barrels. Nice dark brown color here, even without much head. The aroma is very strong with cooked sugar, raisins, and a lot of alcohol. [...] Related posts:

This weekend, I hit up the Atlantic City Beer Festival. I had way too many brews to list and had a blast (see gratuitous picture below). I didn’t do many reviews while I was down there (honestly, the festival kinda shot my palate), but I did manage to have this brew at dinner. I have [...] [...]

Here’s the info they sent over late yesterday. I know the noon hour has passed, but it’s the best I could do to get this on NJCB. To answer all the your questions at once: YES WE HAVE KBS!! But on a sad note we didn’t get much at all. So we will be having [...] [...]
Somehow, we are going to make it through this news without making a childish joke, but given the name of the next beer-and-food festival to come to New York – and its somewhat suggestive logo depicted above, it’s going to be hard to keep a straight … [...]
May 4th, 2011. That was the last time I reviewed a Dogfish Head beer. I used to be a Dogfish Head mega-fan, scooping up every new beer the second it came out. At some point I lost interest. The beers … Continue reading → [...]

The evolution of ale brewing is a wonderful thing! The reason I am saying this, bad experience with an ” ancient ale”. Ta Henket by Dogfish Head is an ancient ale that should have been left in the ruins of Egypt from whence it came. To make a quick des… [...]
. . Here’s a quick look at Noble Rot, Dogfish Head’s beer/wine hybrid that was brewed with grapes infected with the botrytis fungus. While it sounds gross, the result is actually a wonderfully sophisticated beer that your wine snob friends (if you have any, traitor!) are sure to love. For more about Noble Rot from [...] [...]
I did it. I drank it. I’ve been babying this beer since I got it. I didn’t even put it in my cellar because I was scared it wouldn’t age well. So, I kept in the refrigerator for nearly 2 years. Last night however, a good friend of mine looked me in the… [...]
